Noted actress and humanities scholar Betty Jean Steinshouer will present a dramatic portrayal of Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, author of Cross Creek and The Yearling. The presentation portrays Rawlings' character with all of her "frailties and her strengths." After her performance Steinshouer will answer questions, both in her role as Marjorie and scholar.
