The winner of the Phi Beta Kappa Tampa Bay Alumni Association Pinellas County Scholarship in 2001 was Kristan Francis Lord, who graduated from Palm Harbor University High School's International Baccalaureate program with straight As and 1540 SAT scores. |
He is planning to attend the University of Pennsylvania's Management and Technology Program to pursue both Engineering and Business degrees concurrently. Chris was a board member of the National Honor Society in his junior and senior years. In true Phi Beta Kappa spirit, this computer scientist has published his poetry and was a national semifinalist in a poetry contest. He has volunteered for community organizations, all the while working throughout his high school years.
