The winner of the 2000 Phi Beta Kappa Tampa Bay Alumni Association Pinellas County Scholarship was Benjamin Chen, who graduated from St. Petersburg High School's International Baccalaureate program with straight As and 1550 SAT scores.  In true Phi Beta Kappa spirit, Benjamin is an accomplished musician, having added the Chopin Piano Competition to his many awards.

He will attend Harvard University and hopes to become a mathematician, with an eventual career in technology.
